UNKNOWN ROMAN Type of BRONZE HANDLE, HAND-FORGED, GLADIATOR SHORT SWORD ~ with HEAVY, SOLID BRONZE HILT of Greek Spiral Pillar Design with Pedestal Pommel with a lot of copper color showing at surface ~ with Massive 7-5/8 inch wide Bronze Guards ~ with Early ‘Roman Period’ ROMAN GLADIATOR STYLE Double-Edge BLADE ~ Measuring Approximately 20 inches overall, with a 2-inch wide, 13-7/8 inch long, Very-Sharp, Double-Edged Blade, with Double Clipped Point Tip ~ Sword Weighs 5 Pounds, 2 Ounces ~ The Ornate, Pillar Designed, Solid-Bronze Hilt, being firmly cast around the tang of the Hand-Forged Iron/Steel Blade, is without tang nut, making for an extremely solid Sword ~ The Sword Blade balances at a point right at front of the guard portion of the hilt, which makes for a very quick blade ~ NOTE: This is an Extremely Well-Made, Heavy-Weight, Well-Balanced Fighting Weapon, with an Armour Piercing Tip ~ ITEM #wea-202 ~
